Jones Landing, St. Helena Island

TPL's acquisition of the 4.56 acre Jones Landing allowed Beaufort County to create a park adjacent to Station Creek boat landing, one of the most congested water access points in the area. In addition to improving boat access, the property offers maritime recreation, such as fishing, catching oysters and crabbing, that can be done from the shore. A mature stand of Live Oaks provides habitat for migrating songbirds, securing a scenic view of St. Helena Island from the water and creating a place for people to go birding, picnic and enjoy the natural beauty of the Lowcountry.
