Creek Run Day Camp

In 2002, TPL helped a New Jersey nonprofit acquire a 37-acre day camp to offer animal-assisted therapy for children exposed to domestic violence, emotional abuse, divorce, or drug or alcohol abuse. read more »

Double Trouble State Park

In late 2001, TPL purchased 1,044 acres in Ocean County, New Jersey for an addition to Double Trouble State Park, linking it to the Crossley Preserve and the Greenwood Wildlife Management Area. read more »

Good Luck Point

In 2003, TPL purchased 211 additional acres at Good Luck Point from AT&T for addition to the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. read more »

Lake Louise

In October 2004, TPL worked to purchase and preserve the land and the 12-acre lake to protect water quality and maintain the rural character of the area. read more »

Lighthouse Camp

For more than 70 years, the Lighthouse Camp on the Barnegat Bay was a summer retreat for the blind and multiply-handicapped. When the camp was closed, owner Lighthouse International worked with TPL to protect the 90-acre site and to find an alternative use for the camp's 27 buildings in August 2000. read more »

Turkey Swamp

When combined with existing wildlife management lands and Turkey Swamp Park to the northeast, this 1,443-acre acquisition created 5,400 acres of protected open space. read more »

Westecunk Creek

In 2011 TPL conserved a 79-acre property adjacent to both the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge and New Jersey state forest lands as an addition to the refuge, completing protection of the entire 260-acre Westecunk Creek property. read more »
