Hank Gathers Recreation Center at 25th and Diamond is an important community resource known for its numerous after-school and summer programs, bustling public pool, and competitive basketball games. We are currently working with community members to develop renovation plans for the existing facilities including:

Improvements to park entrances
New play equipment, including a water-play feature
Landscaping and seating areas
Stormwater runoff management elements

We expect to finalize a design in Fall 2012 and to begin construction in Spring 2013.
