From majestic mountains and unspoiled forests to picturesque downtowns and scenic coastlines, Maine draws people in with its unique quality of place. The Trust for Public Land is dedicated to preserving these celebrated landscapes through our community-first conservation efforts—that's why people turn to us for help in protecting the places they care about most.
In the past two decades, The Trust for Public Land has conserved more than 144,000 acres across Maine. Our work helps strengthen local economies: we protect working farms, forests, and waterfronts, as well as the iconic landscapes that make Maine an attractive place to live, work, and play.
