The Proctor Creek watershed separates Atlanta’s BeltLine park system from the iconic Chattahoochee River. But although residents in this area are close to both waterways, they lack easy access to either one. In fact, they’re short on parks in general.

To help create new green space for these communities–while also improving water quality—The Trust for Public Land is working with neighbors and the City of Atlanta to transform Proctor Creek with a greenway trail system. When complete, the greenway will connect the BeltLine to the Chattahoochee— and neighborhoods to parks.
