Georgia Green (G2) is a state-wide program unifying an array of projects that leverage The Trust for Public Land's expertise at working with individuals and groups, including local, state and federal agencies. The goal is to achieve community-based, collaborative solutions to local land and water conservation needs.

TPL offers help in the form of its vision, finance and transaction services. Communities that benefit from the G2 program have the political will, vision, funding (existing and potential) and keen interest in protecting the land, water, and heritage resources they treasure.

Helping to preserve land for people in Georgia since the early 1990s, TPL's G2 program has benefited 29 counties, and conserved 55 properties that collectively protect more than 10 miles of stream and lake shore, two drinking water supplies, and 13 historic sites.
