Litchfield Hills Greenprint

In response to the growing threat of development in the scenic Litchfield Hills, TPL partnered with the Housatonic Valley Association (HVA) to create The Litchfield Hills Greenprint Program. The Greenprint utilizes the latest mapping technology to identify conservation priorities, to engage local land trusts and municipalities in their permanent protection, and to define a regional conservation vision. TPL then provides expertise in conservation funding and transactions to achieve ambitious goals to protect the rural character and traditional defining features of the Litchfield Hills.
