40 years of conserving land for people
The Trust for Public Land brings together civic leaders, agencies, neighbors, and donors to protect the lands that draw people to live, work, and play in Colorado. From Main Street to mountain top, we create special places that improve health, strengthen neighborhoods, and bolster local economies.
To mark the culmination of The Trust for Public Land's 40th anniversary year and of 32 years conserving land for people in Colorado, we are hosting a celebration in downtown Denver. Co-chaired by Bruce and Marcy Benson and Kent Thiry and Denise O'Leary, the evening will be a low-key, fun affair with local food and cocktails, great music, and an amazing view of the city.
The event honors our partnership with the Colorado Health Foundation whose generous support is helping The Trust for Public Land transform underserved metro-Denver communities by building parks and protecting open spaces. Working closely with the people who live there, together we are helping to ensure that these neighborhoods are resilient, thriving, and healthy for generations to come.
Proceeds from the event will be used to support The Trust for Public Land's ongoing work to create city parks, preserve open space, and conserve land for people throughout Colorado.
