Drinking Water Protection

As communities expand, their sources of drinking water come under threat from residential development and agricultural and industrial pollution. Just 15 minutes from Little Rock, Lake Maumelle supplies drinking water to 400,000 Arkansas residents. To safeguard this critical water source, TPL is conserving the land around it, creating natural buffers that also protect wildlife habitat and recreation access.
