Arkansas

An abandoned rail line found new life as a link in Little Rock's Millennium Trail when The Trust for Public Land helped to add a missing segment to this popular multi-use pathway. The completed trail will span 14 miles from downtown Little Rock to Pinnacle Mountain State Park, passing through the historic Riverfront Park and the Clinton Presidential Center. We are hard at work in the Arkansas wilderness, too, conveying nearly 20,000 acres of at-risk habitat to the Ouachita and Ozark-St. Francis national forests, and recently protecting the drinking water supply for 400,000 Little Rock residents.
