Queen Creek Park

Working with the town and a local developer, The Trust for Public Land purchased an 80-acre site for a new community park and recreation complex. read more »

Queens Waterfront Green Vision

Beginning in 2010, The Trust for Public Land, in partnership with Green Shores NYC, developed a green vision for the East River shoreline in Astoria and Long Island, Queens. read more »

QueensWay Project

The Trust for Public Land is fundraising for a feasibility study and master plan for the QueensWay, a 3.5 mile stretch of abandoned and unused elevated rail line in the heart of the borough of Queens. read more »

Quitman Street Community School Extension

TPL created a 35,000-square-foot playground for this Newark school in 2000 and in 2011, developed Quitman's smaller playground into a thriving, interactive space that promotes exercise, learning, and exploration for young students and neighborhood children. read more »

Resaca Battlefield

In May, 1864, Confederate troops under General Joseph E. Johnson dug fortifications into rolling hills in Resaca, Georgia, attempting to stall the Union Major General William T. Sherman's advance on Atlanta. More than 150,000 soldiers fought for two days; thousands were killed or wounded, and the battle ended with the Confederate soldiers in retreat. read more »

Reseda River Loop

The Reseda River Loop is a multi-phase effort to create safe, usable open spaces for Los Angeles residents to walk, jog, bike and explore nature close to home. read more »

Richfield Coliseum

At the request of local citizen groups and community leaders, The Trust for Public Land acquired the property, demolished the vacant arena, and transferred ownership to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. read more »

Rivergate Park, OH

Rivergate Park

The Trust for Public Land and the Cleveland Rowing Foundation are converting seven acres of commercial riverfront land into a vibrant new public park in the center of the Flats. read more »
