Pinellas Trail

In 2005, TPL purchased a two-mile corridor from CSX Transportation, Inc. that brought the Pinellas Trail into downtown St. Petersburg, creating a safe, convenient route for bicyclists and pedestrians to travel in and out of downtown. read more »

Ping Tom Memorial Park

Nearly 40 years after Chinatown's only public park was demolished to make way for the Dan Ryan Expressway, the South Side neighborhood celebrated the dedication of Ping Tom Memorial Park, a new five-acre jewel on the Chicago River. read more »

TPL helped add land to the Pipestone National Monument, a unit of the National Park Service that protects archaeological resources and natural features such as Winnewissa Falls on Pipestone Creek. read more »
