North Chickamauga Creek Greenway

In 2003, TPL joined local groups, including the Greenpoint Waterfront Association for Parks & Planning, to conduct open space planning, and produce a greenprint for New York's East River. read more »

Olympic Scuplture Park, Seattle

Olympic Sculpture Park

In 1998, TPL, in partnership with the Seattle Art Museum (SAM), stepped in to protect the last undeveloped piece of downtown Seattle waterfront for a public sculpture park. read more »

Orenco Woods

This former private golf course was slated for development of 250 homes and apartments, but TPL helped secure the property and generate funds for it purchase for a park. read more »

Ouray Ice Park, Colorado

Ouray Ice Park

The Ouray Ice Park may be the only park in the world devoted exclusively to the sport of ice climbing. Located in the Uncompahgre River gorge just a ten-minute walk from the historic mountain town, the ice park allows climbers to test their skills in a controlled ice-climbing environment. read more »

In 2002, TPL purchased two vacant lots adjacent to a YWCA for the first new community designed playground, which the YWCA will maintain and operate under lease from Miami-Dade County. read more »
