Murphy Farm at Harper's Ferry

In 2002, TPL helped add Murphy Farm to Harper's Ferry National Historical Park, preventing the construction of a 188-home subdivision that had been planned for the land. read more »

Murray Ridge/Southwest Beaverton Park

The City of Beaverton, Metro, THPRD and TPL all worked to fund the purchase of the Murray Ridge property, which was transferred into the city's ownership in January 2010. read more »

Nadaka Nature Park

In 2009, The Trust for Public Land helped the City of Gresham expand the Nadaka Nature Park, a 10-acre woodland nestled between the Wilkes East and Rockwood neighborhoods. read more »

Nat Turner Park

Dedicated in July 2009, Newark's largest city-owned park will provide recreation for a neighborhood of 19,000 people, including 7,000 children. read more »

New Freedom Park

The Trust for Public Land and our partners worked with the residents of East Colfax, mostly refugees from war-torn countries, to transform a vacant lot into a community park and garden. read more »

New York City Playgrounds

Many of New York City's public elementary schools lack usable playgrounds and several communities lack park space, so TPL is partnering with Mayor Bloomberg to renovate playgrounds as part of PlaNYC 2030, which uses a participatory design process that involves the community. read more »

Newark Riverfront Park

The Trust for Public Land is the lead partner in developing the first Newark Riverfront Park, a 7.1-acre riverfront park in the Ironbound neighborhood, where there is currently less than a half-acre of parkland per 1,000 residents. read more »

Nisswa Lake

TPL helped protect Nisswa Lake, part of the 13,000-acre Gull Lake Chain, a popular fishing, boating, and swimming destination in the central part of the state. read more »

Noble Tract

The Noble Tract is one of the last large undeveloped parcels in the North Charleston community. read more »

North Branch Recreation Path

With support from the Montpelier Conservation Commission, Vermont Land Trust, and East Montpelier Trails Association, TPL helped the city of Montpelier acquire an addition to the North Branch Recreation area, which includes a network of trails and provides important habitat for beaver, moose, and other wildlife. read more »
