Parks for People-Bay Area


Less than half of all Bay Area children 15 years old and younger live within walking distance of a park. For these children, outdoor play spaces are streets and vacant lots—and that's if they get outside at all.

TPL works closely with communities, offering full suite of expertise
TPL works closely with neighborhood residents and others in park-deprived communities to hep improve and create parks. In each project, TPL helps with the planning, funding; and renovation management processes from design through construction; and assists communities with park stewardship planning.

San Francisco We're revitalizing three urban parks over the next three years in San Francisco neighborhoods that will benefit most.

Generous donors include five Bay Area companies that have contributed $1 million to help make San Francisco a better place to live, work, and play.
