Event: Celebrate Nat Turner Park Opening, 7/28

Community leaders first envisioned Nat Turner Park in the 1970s. In 2002, TPL began working with the City of Newark, Newark Public Schools, and the community to make this vision a reality. TPL is proud to contribute to the revival of the Central Ward and the entire city.

The Trust for Public Land, The City of Newark, and Newark Public Schools invite you to celebrate the opening of the nine-acre Nat Turner Park, the largest city-owned park in Newark.

When: Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 12:00 PM (rain or shine)
Where: The Amphitheater at Nat Turner Park

Followed immediately by an event planned by The Friends of Nat Turner Park

Please RSVP to Catherine Falzone at 973.292.1100 or catherine.falzone at tpl.org
