NJ Study Finds Conservation Yields Thousand Percent Return Rate

A recent TPL study reveals an unexpected bright spot in the investment landscape; namely that investing in the landscape can yield a return rate seldom seen in the best of times--$10 dollars of value for every dollar put into conservation!

The analysis was conducted for NJ-Keep It Green, a coalition of 124 organizations to determine the effectiveness of every dollar invested through a proposed $600 million open space bond measure. This thousand percent rate of return is good news for New Jersey—and land conservationists everywhere.
