Cities Closing Park Roads to Cars

Park agencies are closing their roads to cars, either permanently or periodically, to improve their parks' environment and to help citizens enhance their physical and mental health. A survey of big cities by the Center for City Park Excellence found that at least 22 park drives, totally more than 40 miles, have been closed to cars either all or part of the time.
