'Party in the Park ' Celebration a Success (NYC)

Hosted by New York's Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants, guests celebrated the summer solstice while sipping Cocktails for Conservation at 'Party in the Park', held to benefit The Trust for Public Land at 70 park avenue hotel's silverleaf tavern on June 21st. Party-goers enjoyed an indoor park filled with wheatgrass, bright zinnias and faux birds suspended from the ceiling, and snacked on picnic fare, including mini-burgers, chicken skewers and fresh watermelon and feta salad. Invitees stepped up to spin the 70 park avenue hotel Winner's Wheel for a chance to win overnight hotel stays and dinners at Kimpton properties throughout the Northeast, with all proceeds going to TPL. Outside, the 'Party in the Park' ice cream team satiated the summer swelter selling ice cream to Murray Hill neighbors. Guests also had the chance to view and bid on the two Discovery edition maps of New York neighborhoods showcased at the party. New York's Kimpton Hotels and Restaurant's 'Party in the Park' was truly the perfect way to kick off summer!
