Since 1990, The Trust for Public Land has conserved more than 6,600 acres of land in Missouri and the St. Louis Metro area. With projects ranging from the establishment of urban trails systems to the protection of thousands of acres of undisturbed forestland, TPL is working to protect the special places that define a community's unique character. In 2006, TPL was active in the St. Louis Metro area, focusing on three major land protection efforts.
