Greenprinting

The Trust for Public Land's Greenprinting service helps communities make informed decisions about how to grow while preserving character, opportunities for recreation, clean water, environmental benefits, and quality of life.

A Greenprint starts with community engagement and leads to state-of-the-art computer models and maps developed using Geographic Information System software (GIS). The interactive maps highlight key areas for protection based on residents’ own conservation priorities and where possible conservation funding is available.

Our GIS work is made possible in part by the generous support of ESRI. The Trust for Public Land is a recipient of the 2012 Esri Making a Difference Award.
