Sarah Rheault has been active in environmental and land conservation work for thirty years. She was Chair of the Coastal Mountains Land Trust in Camden, Maine, serving for nine years on their board. She served on the Natural Resources Council of Maine Board of Directors based in Augusta, Maine, and was Co-Chair of the Development Committee there. Sarah is currently Vice-Chair of the Friends of Maine Seabird Islands, Rockland, Maine. As a testament to her commitment, Sarah and her family donated a conservation easement on 118-acres of their 125-acre historic farm property, 35-acres of which are in Maine blueberries, to the Coastal Mountains Land Trust bordering the 35-acre Hodson Preserve; both are in Camden.
