Richard A. Miller
Richard A. Miller became a Partner of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in 1976 and became "Of Counsel" in 2006. He practices in the Firm's Corporate Department and has advised clients on most aspects of the Firm's corporate practice. Mr. Miller graduated from Amherst College magna cum laude and was elected Phi Beta Kappa. He received his J.D. in 1969 from Yale Law School. In addition to his involvement with TPL's New York Advisory Board, Mr. Miller is a board member of the Island Health Project and a director of the School of American Ballet. Mr. Miller and his wife live in New York City, where they are raising two small children.
