Research at The Trust for Public Land ranges from calculating comparative statistics about city parks to dollar values for ecosystem services. Conservation professionals, policymakers, planners, members of the press, and others across the nation rely upon our reports, white papers, and other research materials.

TPL's Conservation Finance team, Center for Land and Water, and Center for City Park Excellence are helping to improve conservation practices, create public support for conservation, and encourage pro-conservation public policy.

Focusing on and enumerating the benefits of land conservation—both economic and health-related—our research has proven invaluable for individuals and groups making the case for conservation.
