Oregon's coast and rivers are signature landscapes and important scenic
and recreational resources for residents and visitors alike. TPL in
Oregon was one of the originators of the effort to save the natural
beauty of the Columbia Gorge, and has a long history of success saving
public access to coasts and rivers and preserving lands crucial to clean
drinking water and fish and wildlife habitat.
Working from more than 30 offices nationwide, The Trust for Public Land helps communities raise funds, conduct research and planning, acquire and protect land, and design and renovate parks, playgrounds, trails, and gardens.
