TPL helped the town of Newton protect twelve acres of land, including 1,200 feet of frontage along the Halfway River provide space for low-impact recreation and valuable access to one of the state's best wild brown trout fisheries.
The Trust for Public Land helped permanently protect this New Hartford farmland in early 2009 by securing a conservation easement on the 59-acre property.
