The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and The Trust for Public Land, a national non-profit conservation organization, announced today that 82 acres on Moody Bridge Road in Hadley have been acquired and will be managed as part of the Silvio O. Conte National Fish and Wildlife Refuge.
Critically important bat habitat and a significant portion of Gardner Ridge, the scenic backdrop for New Hampshire’s Town of Lyman, have been conserved, Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust and The Trust for Public Land announced.
