Peter Kirsch

Peter Kirsch is a founding partner with the law firm of Kaplan Kirsch & Rockwell, where he splits his time between offices in Denver and Washington, DC.  His practice emphasizes environmental and land use law, and public-sector negotiations.  He most often represents local governments in environmental and land use negotiations and litigation with a focus on major public infrastructure and transportation projects.  Peter has served on (and chaired) numerous charitable and non-profit boards, including Denver Foundation, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado, Conservation Colorado, Denver Botanic Gardens, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Oberlin College, and River Network.  He had advised many non-profits on governance issues and often assists in negotiation and implementation of non-profit mergers.  Peter has lived in Denver for nearly 30 years, where all three of his sons were educated.
