Outdoor Heritage Fund

The Outdoor Heritage Fund is one of four funds created in November 2008 when Minnesota voters passed the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment. These funds are constitutionally dedicated towards restoring, protecting, and enhancing wetlands, prairies, forests, and habitat for fish, game, and wildlife. The Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Council provides annual recommendations to the Legislature for how Outdoor Heritage Funds are to be spent.
