Mestizo-Curtis Park

Built in 1868, Mestizo-Curtis Park is the oldest in Denver. Its nine acres of tree-lined paths hold great potential, but the park lacks the amenities it needs to serve as a quality gathering and play space for this dense and diverse neighborhood.

The Trust for Public Land is working with community groups and Denver Parks and Recreation to bring new life to this under-used park. Plans include a new playground, improved trails, a Fitness Zone® exercise area, and a community garden with innovative water-capture systems. With your help, we'll renew this historic neighborhood treasure -and the community's pride in its park.
