TPL has protected nearly 20,000 acres of pristine Arkansas wilderness, adding land to the Ouachita and Ozark-St. Francis national forests. In partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, TPL targets the land most critical to conservation, including watershed areas and inholdings whose development would place fragile ecosystems at risk.
