New trail helps open Wilson Peak to hikers

The U.S. Forest Service and local groups have opened the new Rock of Ages Trail about 15 miles southwest of Telluride, which eases access to Wilson Peak (elevation 14,107). The 3.7-mile hiking trail was a seven-year effort by the forest service, the Trust for Public Land, San Miguel County, the Telluride Mountain Club and the Colorado Mountain Club. read more »
