Marnie Wells

Marnie is the CEO of Camp Fire Minnesota. Under her leadership, Camp Fire launched its first-ever capital campaign and camp property master plan. Phase 1 will total $1.5 million with completion date expected for December 2013. Previous to becoming CEO of Camp Fire Minnesota, in 2006 Marnie was appointed by Mayor Chris Coleman to lead and create St. Paul’s first ever system-wide initiative linking the learning that occurs during the school day to the nonschool hours. Marnie is a member of the Excelsior Rotary Board, University of MN’s Alumni Association, and the Greater Twin Cities United Way Campaign Committee and Speaker’s Bureau.

Marnie received her undergraduate degree from the University of MN, a Masters in Human Development from St. Mary’s University, and a Masters of Public Affairs from the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs.
