Marc Berson

Marc Berson is a dedicated and established philanthropist, lawyer and entrepreneur, with a focus in real estate development. Since 1981, Mr. Berson has been Chairman of The Fidelco Group of Millburn, NJ, a private investment firm with diverse corporate and real estate interests. Fidelco's real estate affiliate is an owner-developer of residential, commercial and industrial properties primarily located in the New Jersey, New York, Florida and Ohio. Among Fidelco's current urban redevelopments is Harbor Station, the first phase of redevelopment of the former Military Ocean Terminal at Bayonne, NJ, which was awarded the Smart Growth Award by New Jersey Future for its creative utilization of mass transit and its emphasis on public spaces including a public greenway along the Hudson River waterfront.

Mr. Berson is a founding Member of the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and Member of its Executive Committee. He is a Trustee of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, and Trustee of the Paper Mill Playhouse. He is founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Opportunity Project, Inc., a not-for-profit organization aiding in the rehabilitation and empowerment of people with brain injuries. Mr. Berson is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Trustee of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System and a member of the Board of the School of Diplomacy and International Relations of Seton Hall University.
