Julie Parish

Julie Parish has been a parks advocate for over 30 years. She served on the Board of Trustees of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, chairing the Project and Development Committees and creating the Trails Forever Dinner which is in its 26th year and has raised over $10 million for the GGNPC. She has also helped the GGNPC’s park making campaigns raise over $100 million dollars in capital and leadership gifts. A long-time supporter of TPL, Julie is a member and former co-chair of the CA Advisory Board and has been on fund-raising committees for Human Rights Watch, the CA Academy of Sciences and the SF Botanical Gardens.

Julie and her husband, Will, have created a public/private partnership with a non-profit in West Sonoma to preserve 1,000 acres. They offer camp experiences for youth with an emphasis on children who don’t have access to nature. Julie attended Stanford University and holds a certificate in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley Extension. She and her husband have two grown sons and a grandson.
