Writing a check to save some land is a lot easier than getting involved and making it happen. Sometimes in life, you really have to push yourself more than normal to get yourself to do the right thing. It was knowing that I would have a hard time living with regret that got me started, and then kept me going on the conservation of 2,600 acres of land, that became Freedom, New Hampshire's first town forest. But it was The Trust for Public Land who came in like Superman, pulling it all together, that really made it happen. Me and others were just part of the catalyst that got it all started. For that reason, as well as the many similar stories that I have now become of aware of, I want to continue to support and help The Trust for Public Land in any way I can.
