We’ve all got a place in our hearts for a special park— somewhere green that tickles us pink. So this Valentine’s Day, we’re turning the spotlight on the land you love with a new photo contest. Submit a snapshot that captures how you feel about your favorite open space, whether it’s the local playground or a backcountry hideaway in the midst of a national park. We’ll post the best entries to our Facebook page: the photo with the most “likes” will earn free swag!

We’ll accept entries through March 1st and announce the winner in the next edition of our e-newsletter. Make sure you tell us where the photo was taken—and a little something about what makes the scene special to you.

Legal Details / Your Rights
By submitting your photo you warrant that the photo is your original work and that you own the rights to any photos or images used. You retain ownership and full rights to all images submitted, but grant The Trust for Public Land (TPL) (i) nonexclusive, royalty-free rights to reproduce, distribute, and publicly display images you submit in support of TPL's mission to conserve land for people and (ii) the right to use your name, city, and state in association with your image. No payment will be made to you for TPL's display of photos submitted by you.
