Coby Sillers is a retired senior executive having recently relocated back “home” to Seattle after 43 years of leading business endeavors in various companies in Seattle and Atlanta. Most recently, Coby was instrumental in leading the rapidly growing Business Services division of Cox Communications in Atlanta. Previously, he was president of Cherokee Wireless, SVP Sales & Marketing for Oki Telecom and VP Sales & Marketing for US WEST Cellular. Coby began his career with IBM in Seattle after four years as a Marine Corps officer, where he served one year in combat in Vietnam. He has always had a passion for the outdoors and considers his association with The Trust for Public Land as a wonderful opportunity to give back to the city and state he loves in ways that will make a difference for future generations. Coby lives in Bellevue and has a BS degree in Political Science from Oregon State University. He also is a volunteer at Overlake Hospital and enjoys fly-fishing, hiking and biking around Seattle. He has a son with three children who live in Santa Barbara, CA, and a daughter with two children in Tacoma.
