Brian is a Team Director and Senior Program Officer at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. In this role, he oversees the work of the Foundation's Pioneer Portfolio, which actively seeks to fund innovative projects that catalyze fundamental breakthroughs in health and health care. Prior to joining the Pioneer Portfolio, Quinn was part of the Foundation's Research and Evaluation Unit, where he developed and managed projects to bridge the research and policy worlds. Previously, Quinn was a Research Associate at the Petris Center on Health Care Markets and Consumer Welfare at the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Research Assistant/Programmer at Mathematica Policy Research. Quinn holds a PhD in health services and policy analysis from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in economics from Colby College in Maine. His training includes a certificate of study from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He resides in Peapack-Gladstone with his wife, Tacy, and their two sons.
