We have a winner! 2014 membership card image is…

When we asked Trust for Public Land members to vote for an image for the 2014 membership card, more than 2,000 of you responded with your picks.

The touching photo above—of a father and son enjoying a sunny day at Ventura River Parkway in southern California—was the crowd favorite, winning 45 percent of the vote.  A passionate local contingency in Montana pushed an image from The Trust for Public Land’s in-progress Story Mill park project to second place, with 32 percent of the vote, while a rail-to-trail project in Orlando and an image from the trailblazing Newark Riverfront Park in New Jersey garnered 15 and eight percent of the vote respectively.

If you’re a Trust for Public Land member, look for your membership card in the mail in early 2014. Or become a member by donating today.

In the meantime, browse this slideshow of photo contenders to learn more about the parks pictured.
