This summer, The Trust for Public Land partnered with The Fresh Air Fund to help give city kids a chance to get outside. We supplied host families with a guide to some of our favorite conserved lands—from sandcastle-friendly beaches to fun forest trails. If you’re on the lookout for places to play on the Atlantic seaboard, you might find it handy, too.
One-third of Americans, including 28 million children, lack safe, easy access to a park within a 10-minute walk of home. Urge your senators to allocate funding to create parks and enhance outdoor recreational opportunities by championing the Outdoors for All Act today!
