Ryan Donahue oversees the collection and management of data for the Center for City Park Excellence, which compiles information annually from the park systems of the 100 largest U.S. cities. He responds to requests for information from researchers, journalists, planners, and local officials. He also undertakes research projects for the Center on subjects such as urban brownfield-to-park conversions, the employment impacts of urban park systems, and innovative uses for underused public golf courses. His writing for the Center has been published in Planning, Landscape Architecture Magazine, and Utne Reader. Ryan is a 2010 graduate of the University of Puget Sound, where he studied International Political Economy and French.
