Rachel Ogdie lives on Oahu and is a lawyer and entrepreneur. Most recently, she was in-house legal counsel for Sprout, an Oahu-born software company that was acquired in late 2011. After spending much of 2012 in Spain cooking in restaurants, Rachel returned to Oahu to continue to cook and to give back to the community. Most of her life, Rachel has been involved in nonprofit and public interest organizations. During law school, she was co-editor of the Environmental and Natural Resources Newsletter and she co-founded a nonprofit organization called NetCorps whose mission was to train college students to bring modern communications technology and training to environmental organizations in Oregon. Currently, Rachel is a board member of the Hawaii Arts Alliance and an Advisory Board Member of Entrepreneurs Foundation of Hawaii. Rachel's varied background also includes teaching a Small Business Clinic at UH School of Law and teaching law and social studies classes at Punahou School.
