Mr. Lehner has over 30 years of experience in real estate land acquisition, new community development, management, investment, historical renovation, and land conservation. Before moving to Dallas twenty-five years ago, he worked for the J. Irwin Miller interests in Columbus, Indiana, a community nationally renowned for its architectural and planning excellence. He has since managed a half billion dollar land portfolio of over 100 parcels while serving as Vice President of a Dallas-based real estate firm. He has served as a National Partner Finance with Trammel Crow Residential as well as President of the Dallas Chapter of the U.S. Mexico Chamber of Commerce.
As Director of Planning and Development for the Trinity River Corridor in Dallas from 2006-2009, Mr. Lehner oversaw and assisted private development activities for the city’s $2 Billion Trinity River Corridor Project.
He graduated from Harvard with a Master in Business Administration and served four years in the U.S. Navy. He is currently a member of Rotary International, the Dallas Parks Foundation Board, the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations, and the Advisory Committee of Vision North Texas.
