Oregon

Christine Whipple Farrington is a licensed clinical social worker who volunteers as a psychotherapist at the William Temple House in Northwest Portland. In 1980, she moved to Portland with her husband and two young sons. During the ensuing 25 years, she has observed increasing development which has resulted in the disappearance of farm and ranch lands as well as former wilderness areas in her adopted state. Having grown up on a farm, which is now a housing development in Long Island New York, Christine understands the urgency of land conservation and is excited to be a founding member of TPL’s Oregon Advisory Council.
