Brewster Crosby first moved to Oregon in the late 80’s spending his college summers windsurfing and bilking throughout the Columbia River Gorge. Soon after graduating from college he moved to Portland, Oregon and worked in sales and marketing for Columbia Sportswear Company. After several years in the outdoor industry, he joined an early stage venture capital firm in the Washington DC and attended the Georgetown MBA program. Mr. Crosby continues to work in private equity acting as President and CEO of several portfolio companies focusing in ecommerce and consumer products. Additionally, Mr. Crosby is active in several community initiatives including: The Carolyn Foundation, a member of the City of Portland Mayor’s Economic Cabinet, among other for and nonprofit organizations. Mr. Crosby received a BA in Political Science and Business from Skidmore College and a MBA from Georgetown University. Brewster currently lives in Portland with his wife Rebecca and two children.
