Charlie is Associate General Counsel for Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. and has worked there for over 20 years. The majority of Charlie's work for A&B focuses on real estate matters but he is also responsible for employment matters, litigation management and other company activities. Charlie was born and raised inHonoluluand graduated from Punahou. He attendedColoradoCollegeand then went to law school atSanta ClaraUniversity.
Charlie's community activities include a very active role in HUGS, aHawaiinon-profit which helps families who have seriously ill children in a variety of ways. He has been a member of the Board of Directors and/or an officer of HUGS for more than 15 years. Charlie also sat on the Board of the Friends of the Waikiki Aquarium for more than a dozen years. Charlie has had a lifelong love forHawaii's environment and finds peace by getting to the ocean and mountains often.
