Vivien Blackford of East Haddam was first introduced to TPL when TPL participated in a joint effort to protect the Eight Mile River near her home. She is the principal of a private consulting business, Vivien Blackford & Associates, and is also an active political organizer in Connecticut, having served as a Connecticut delegate for the 2008 presidential election. Ms. Blackford is a graduate of Wesleyan College. (Member since 2006.)
