Henry Lord of New Haven is an individual investor. As an undergraduate, he attended Yale University and UMass Amherst where he earned a BA in political science, and has an MA in Urban Studies and Environmental Education from Southern CT State University. He has been a trustee of the Connecticut chapter of The Nature Conservancy since 1997, and is a member of the Steering Committee of Working Lands Alliance, a farmland-preservation advocacy group. From 1987 to 1992 he was Public Policy Coordinator for the Population Institute in Washington, D.C. From 1996 to 1999 he was Greater New Haven district coordinator for AmeriCares Homefront. He is an amateur photographer and has traveled extensively. (Member since 2002.)
