Hazel Archer Sanger
Hazel Sanger was educated at Oxford University, where she received a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. She worked as an economist and portfolio manager in London. After moving to the United States, she continued to manage money at Wellington Management (then Thorndike, Doran, Paine & Lewis) and Atlanta Capital Management Company for U.S. and British institutional clients. She then became director of The Arden Group, a firm specializing in asset management and estate administration for substantial families and individuals.
Hazel is currently Senior Director at BNY Mellon. Hazel has been a president and trustee of the Atlanta Financial Analysts Society, a member of the Board of Regents of the Financial Analysts Seminar and co-authored the endowment fund section in The Investment Manager's Handbook. She has been an Executive-in-Residence at the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth, a director of the World Trade Club and co-chairman of the Advance Giving campaign of the Atlanta Arts Alliance. She has also served on the board of The Atlanta Opera and the investment committee of the CDC Foundation.
Her interests are reading, hiking, opera and theater.
